Adephagia at the Shore

Adephagia at the Shore
Acrylic, 18" x 24"

I did the first draft of this image back (way back) in 1990 as a self-imposed exercise to learn how to use the pen tool in Aldus Freehand. I never did a vector version, but did do one in colored pencil in 2004. I recently came across that sketch and immediately started the painting. I love big sweeping curves. The title is from a very minor Greek goddess who was the goddess of gluttony so it was fun to re-imagine her as a modern woman at her ease at the beach.
